I live in the TCC area and for the last hour or so maybe (it's about 8 am Saturday Tuesday) I've been hearing this BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP from far away. After 4 beeps it stops for about 10 seconds then beeps four times again.

Any idea what this is? Something to do with the boats maybe? Just curious.

The lahar warning system is being tested in eastern pierce county. It's very loud, so it's likely that you're hearing.

Hmm...but it says the alarms were supposed to be at 10, and I was definitely hearing this around 8. So I'm not sure.
