Okso. My birthday is about 6 months away - but it's my 21st, which means it's my last "big" birthday for a while, and I'd like to do something a little out of the ordinary for it. We're thinking of having a Masque Ball, show of hands for how many people would be interested? Alternatively, anyone else with suggestions for awesome/quirky parties, plz

you're getting old taco (hehe, I can talk) ;) Are you sure someone at work hasn't put a postit note on your back saying "I need a husband" or something? I suppose it would beat "kick me", but not by much... I think you're getting teased. I was at a 38 yo friend's house last night, he told me a story about being asked for ID by a young woman in a milkbar while buying cigarettes, his reaction was first "Are you serious?", then when she was he got down on one knee and proposed marriage :) She went running out the back calling for her mum :D

I honestly don't get themed parties myself- probably a het geeky guy thing- for me an awesome party comes from the people there and the mood they are in, not what they are dressed as.

Ooooooooooh I hope so! That would be magic. Dates might be a bit clashy though - I had my first year 12 exam (the 3 hour English one) on my 18th birthday.

Well your birthday is on a Monday and the HSC starts apparently on the 17th and will probably go til November 10-ish. I could possibly fly down for like...a day xD I so will do it if i can.
