Dang, I haven't smoked in 20 years, but maybe I should light up again so I can use bible paper!
Love it.

That's what everyone should do during any lag time at Christmas family get-togethers. Get out the Family Bible and start rolling up cigarettes with it so we can all get a fever and hallucinate that the Christmas ham is actually the baby Jesus before we eat it. LOL! I'm sure every family's religious grandma, aunt or sister, or whatever, would appreciate that :=)

No, if you haven't smoked in 20 years I definitely would not start up again, and definitely not with Bible paper, at least not if it's like the Bible I got. That fever it gives me is wicked and yucky **shivers**

Heres a little link about the components of bible paper:
http://cool.conservation-us.org/don/dt/dt0283.html
maybe it was the titanium oxide that was making you sick? ;p

i noticed too, that places that sold paper for books say that bible paper and dictionary paper are the same sometimes.

I found a thread of people talking about different stuff you can roll your stuff in: http://www.marijuana.com/homemade-paraphernalia/27481-rolling-papers.html

these people also suggest things to roll stuff in, including blank bible paper: http://forum.grasscity.com/apprentice-tokers/82499-substitute-joint-paper.html but also other stuff like toiletpaper and tracing paper that might be safer ;p

whatever you chose, be careful!

Thanks for the links, Necrogirlie!

I really don't know what it is inside the paper these days that gives me that fever. It could be the titanium oxide, but I was just looking at the wikipedia page for that and it looks like it's used in food and stuff, including skim milk. The weird thing is that I know I rolled up cigarettes using a whole Bible during the summer of '98 I spoke of in the entry above and it had no ill effects on me whatsoever. I'm guessing it is some sort of other pigment that is used in books now but maybe not so much back in my earlier Bible-smoking days. Both my Bible and dictionary are relatively new.

I've gotten the fever from smoking blank Bible/dictionary pages as well as the inked ones, so it isn't a matter of the ink, I don't think.

It's funny reading the discussions in those weed forums you linked to. People on there talk of how they used Bible paper "back in the day" or they are telling the person to just buy some rolling papers because they only cost a couple dollars. It makes me think of how I ( ... )

Pardon me, I know it is not my business, but why don't you try to find a second job? Looks like you are employed at the store and you don't make enough money :(
I am just saying. I like smoking, too. I am not an addict though I will not smoke for 10 days since now... because my friend I am vising in Ukraine doesn't smoke at all...

You are definitely right, Miss Russian Universe! I need a second job! Alot of the problem is that I am only employed part-time, 20 hour a week, at the dirty book store and I need to get more hours somewhere. I've been looking for a second job for quite awhile now but so far no luck, no one wants to hire me! WaaaaaH! So please cross your fingers and send me good vibes from Russia so I can somehow make more money and won't have to risk my health by rolling cigarettes up in Bible paper anymore!

It's good to be a smoker and not addicted to it. I haven't been able to just be a "recreational" smoker like that for some time. I'm addicted and if I smoke one I want another and another. LOL. It is very kind and considerate of you not to smoke around your non-smoking friend in the Ukraine. I admire people who are sensitive to others like that and I, too, try not to smoke around non-smokers very much :=)
