I don't think I shall ever attend a school function again, regardless of whether or not it is mandatory. Yes, I would actually compromise my flawless disciplinary record in order to keep occurrences such as those of this past weekend from transpiring again ( Read more... )

A lot of the other students seemed to enjoy getting intoxicated at another person's whim, but if you do not care for such a thing, then yes, it's probably fortunate that you did not arrive here until after the dance.

Don't worry, you didn't do anything too bad. And I hope that if I were in trouble, you'd do the same for me. Of course I'm going to keep it between us. I really hope I don't have to see you like that again. It was a little scary.

I was apparently ignorant of the fact that such things can occur at school dances. Then again, I somehow managed to have survived my schooling without ever having to attend a dance before. I am faring all right.
