I love it, the colors are so vibrant and bright. I love your house, it's so beautiful, the way it's built, the hardwood cherry floors and built in bookshelves and poles and stuff, it's so nice! My dream is to find a house like that one day :) What year was your house built?
My baby was built in 1905!It really is a beauitful house.Being that I live in a city that is small and noone really wants to move/live here, houses are cheap. my mortgage is only $850 a month!
there is something about older houses that i love, all the hidden nooks and crannies and hidden hideaways and the architecture of it all, they are awesome! I need to move there! i wish my mortgage was that low, it is now $1586, we did a stupid interest only loan and after 2 years the rate just skyrocketed from 3% to 7.38%. So now we are going back to 30yr fixed. We seriously need to move away from this area, it is ridiculous the prices of some of the homes...a broken down, old, rambler with broken windows, no appliances, needs electrical work...etc...was going for $360k!!! Eddie wanted it so bad, i guess i should be glad that didn't go through.
I came across your livejournal searching for people with the interest "reupholstering," and I was wondering if you might be able to help me? I've been looking for a reupholstering tutorial online and haven't come up with much. If for some reason I ever want to digitally reupholster a chair, I can do that now, though!
Hi! I have not found any online tutorial, I am taking a class at my local Community College. Here is a link to an AMAZING designer that specializes in reupholstering vintage furniture. She offers a design 911 option where you can e-mail her with DIY questions. Good luck ( :
