I agree...it's a total crock of shit. I knew she would get out early though. I'm surprised they kept her the better part of three days. I think Nicole Richie should TOTALLY get jail time for driving the wrong way down the freeway hopped up on pot and vicodin. She could have easily killed someone. In fact, there was just an episode of Oprah about a drunk driver who was driving the wrong way down the freeway. He was going 70mph and crashed head on into a limo carrying a family home from a wedding. The impact decapitated a little girl :-( and killed the limo driver. The rescue workers saw the mom fight her way out of the limo with her little girl's head in her arms. I BAWLED....and it makes me even angrier about situations like these. Slaps on the wrists for the overpriviledged who can do no wrong.......

Um, you weren't on my FL in Dec 04 I was rearended by a drunk bastard. He hit my car and left the scene. The cops found him, he assaulted the officer, and only charged him with public intoxication, and misdemeanor simple assault after they found out his brother as a cop in a differnt district. BS!

In June 05 - At 3 in the AM! I was in CVS getting a perm for my friend's hair. I was in the store. She was in the car. She called to tell me about some guy coming in that was clearly drunk and stopped like 500 feet before the red light. IT WAS HIM!! I called the cops, but I don't even know if they came. We left before we knew. I checked his record and I never saw any new charges. See letting people off is when they fuck up even worse later..It won't stop. God forbid he injures or kills someone! I saw that his son changed his name on the public database here. No wonder! I bet he is ashamed to have that freak as a dad.

They have that over crowding issue in Cali so I knew it wouldn't be long. All of these people that get numerous DUI's need to be taken off the streets. They kill thousands of people a year.
