This one is brutally haunting. There's a certain vulnerability that I am drawn to... May I inquire on the inspiration? It reminds me of finding an old box of pictures of my first girlfriend. Though she was cruel towards the end, forgive the expression but she'll always own a piece of my heart.

This sort of came from stumbling upon some letters I had from a friend with whom I used to be closer. We were both pretty young, and exchanged letters and had long ambitious conversations. I suppose vulnerability is an appropriate thing to draw from this piece, as a lot of it pertains to being conquered or voided over the years - yet a lot of that ambitious youth remains.
