OOC: Permissions
So basically, in the MS's canon, he runs around fighting demons, which are created from the fusion of a supernatural entity with a hidden truth and a motivation that drive it to madness. In most cases, that truth and motivation (he'll refer to it as the Regret) come from humans.
To draw the Taima Sword and fight a mononoke/demon, the Medicine Seller needs to establish its Form, Truth, and Regret--what shape it takes, and the secret and emotions that motivate it.
This means that, if your character is mixed up with the supernatural, he might come snooping. He might even try to fight your demons, though it might not work if your canon's supernatural can't be reconciled with the way he's used to things being.
So, here's what I'd like to get from anyone to whom it might be relevant!

8. If yes to 6, is there some dark secret in your backstory that might be your Truth? If so, what? (examples: In the MS's canon, Truths have been things like "this inn was once a brothel where the workers were forced to have abortions so they could keep working" or "someone was sent into this area of the sea in a windowless, doorless boat as a human sacrifice"; a ghost's truth might be the facts of their death; more generally, the Truth tends to be the physical facts of the event that spurred the mononoke to go bad.)
9. If yes to 7, do you have a Regret/motivation and if so what? (This motivation does not have to make sense according to human logic, though it may. It could be boredom, empathy for and desire to avenge a victim, frustrated love, guilt, a territorial nature, fear, hatred, a desire to live, an enjoyment of the taste of delicious human blood/fear/souls, or whatever.)
