In the frankly deplorable situation where there is neither brown sauce or ketchup available for a morning bacon sandwich, what sauce is a suitable substitute?

Today mustard has stepped up to the plate...

Good choice. I fear that the sort of cafeteria that does not supply ketchup is unlikely to run to onion chutney though.
