Shiny toys!
OK, I'm blaming stepp_sensei for posting about the Priss fig (which, yes I preordered) which put HJL prominent in my thoughts. Then Akihabara news posted about the desktop Tachikoma that is a USB toy. They link to GeekStuff4U which has the thing for 133 Euros, which has me going "eep!" How can an expensive hotel be so cheap?
OK, I know I'm not staying at the Ritz-Carlton or Waldorf-Astoria or anything, but I would have hoped that for as much as I'm paying they could have had more than one ice machine for a 12 story hotel... And naturally it isn't on my floor either ( Read more... ) -

6 theme parks in 5 days HURTS
Well, the 1stMI (my gaming clan) 2007 Romp is officially about half over, and I can barely walk. There are still a few of the gang in town through this weekend, but I just had to take today as a day of rest. Zain and his wife coming in early to hit more theme parks was a LOT of fun, but I am wiped out right now. -
Pushing Daisies
That may have just been the trippiest thing i have seen in years. Whimsical dark humor tragedy with a technicolor palette. I didn't know what to expect, but I most assuredly didn't expect the thing to move into my head and go "I'm Home" like it has.
Now if they just don't muck it up. -
