Wait a week? A whole week before reading what happens? Egads!!! Then the possibility exists of stumbling upon news on how it ends without reading it for ourselves. And that would be a travesty! There must be total media black out once the book is actually purchased till it is has been read.
I know! I have to go into my media blackout period lest someone tell me the ending of the book.
I'm in North Carolina now. I somehow managed to navigate my way through two airports. I got a window seat! It was amusing, I think I was the only person on the plane still amused by flying. We're flying! How cool is that.
I'm preparing for tomorrow (I've made a list of "why I'm a great librarian"). Also, they've put me up at an AMAZING Inn here. Very posh.

Grr on the appartment issue indeed. :( Can't help you there.
Now, why would you wait in line for a book with preteens in wizard costumes for hours... when you could just be patient for a week and get it then?
But that's just me...
:-P
