I need to type this before my computer turns off, i unplugged the CR-ROM then plugged it back in, now it keeps turning off every 5-10 minutes! cxompleatly off.

HELP!!

Eer turn the computer off completely then unplug it again and plug it back in really good and check all the connections, make sure they're tight, and if that doesn't work just shut down completely again, unplug that sucker again for good and see how it reacts - find a solution from there.

Oh and also check your motherboard, make sure you didn't accidentaly unplug anything else. . . say like the power to any fans or anything.

I've occasionally had problems with my DVD/RW drive, although it does let me pop it open by sticking a paperclip or whatever through a small hole, and I can usually get it working right again by restarting my computer.
