It's probably the quality, but they sound weird to me, or at least not what I expected them to sound like. I really only like Gackt when he's doing his own thing (I'm not a Malice Mizer fan either)- and that didn't seem like a Gackt show to me from what I could tell.
Not that that will stop me from shelling out to see them in Japan XD
That was...interesting? I mean they seem to be having fun but I couldn't tell who was doing what...though I figure Gackt was singing, and Yoshiki was on the drums, while Sugizo and Miyavi played their respective guitars.
The song seemed okay I think? I couldn't really tell what the song was over all the screaming and noise.
And I still think this band would have been better sans Miyavi. But that's me.
I just can't stand how he looks! I mean he looks...like an ugly girl. Like a boy that needs to grow up because he is not Peter Pan, and he's not hide either sorry. He seems so unoriginal to me. And everyone looooves him for his looks. "He's so cute!" because being covered in tattoos and piercings and dayglow colors = cute or something. I still stand behind Go's saying of "Miyavi is the poor man's hide." If I could swap Miyavi for hide, then I'd do it. Then Miyavi would be gone and hide would be here!
It's very old school punk/heavy rock, despite the screaming of rabid fangirls all around. But like other said, the sound is a bit choppy so it's hard to actually how the main melody is.
