Crap. Christmas is coming. I get to go buy a bajillion strands of lights for the shop tomorrow and start stapling them up in the windows. Next week we'll be decorating the rest of the shop. :( Then comes Thanksgiving and then it's a headlong retail rush to Christmas. Where on earth did this year go?

It didn't go anywhere - retail is speeding up the year by asking people to shop for Christmas BEFORE THANKSGIVING. Not cool retail, not cool.
