I have been exposed to a variety of religious and spiritual paths and I am beginning to suspect that there is a universal/common thread to the use of symbols, ascended masters, angels and saints

The theory is that there is just one soul and we are all fragments of it.
I like the macrocosm-microcosm explanation better - we are all cells in the body of the divine (i hate the word god. It is too anthropomorphic(?))
