I have recently started playing 14.1 continuous (also known as straight pool). Up until recently I had just been mediocre at best. However since I have not had gainful employment and have had lots of time on my hands with which to practice I have totally improved. Because of this improvement I am going to Las Vegas this coming Tuesday to play in ( Read more... )

Damnit boy! I have not seen shooting like that in a while. I know that feeling all too well when you DON'T wanna miss. Good shooting though. And congrats on going to Vegas. Maybe if my team ever pulls it together we might get there too :D

Thanks! My next highest run is somewhere in the teens. I'm really looking forward to Vegas, I'm hoping to be in the singles next year....and might even try to make it for the 9 ball nationals.

Good luck! I thought there was no chance of going to Vegas with the team...is the BCA paying for it, or are you guys having to foot the bill?

Thanks. We are footing the bill this time around. We were able to recruit arguably the best player at GCue (present company excluded) and a BCA instructor....how could I say no to that? =)

Doubtfully...John Palmore and Rod Gustofson. You might remember J.P. from the last time you visited GCue to watch me play....the night I beat him 3-0 and was damn proud of it!
