The classification of sexuality (as in, what gender we engage sexually) is for simplicity's sake, and perhaps to allow a better understanding among the denizens of human society! Unfortunately, it often leads, as with many polarizing definitions, to a misunderstanding among people, to ignorance. Sexuality is not race. But race is not sexuality

Is being gay kinda like being a non-practicing jew? Like you know, we can blame them for the death of our christ but still feel bad when we mention Christmas instead of winter holidays?

I recently made the declaration of my straightness to facebook in fear that one of my dad's coworkers - my exclassmate - was going to ask him about my wife, Allison which would only ultimately force me into explaining to my family my secret life of internet socialization.

I've heard it mentioned lately that people don't really caaaaare if such-and-such is gay, they just want to know how their gaydar is doing!
