Da Vinci Code

I went and saw the Da Vinci Code with Brooke on Saturday.  I really don't get the big fuss about the movie.  All I can say about that is that the producers made a lot of money off of all the controversy, and i am still Catholic, even though I watched it.  Honestly, there were only a few parts that ticked me off.  You just have to go in there ( Read more... )

i won't watch the movie b/c the book was so cheesy. the total lack of research pisses me off more than the church thing-I mean, they have the Mona Lisa in the wrong place!

Hah! That's great about the Mona Lisa. Anyhow, I started to read the book, but I just don't have time. And then, even if they could prove that someone is the child of Mary Magdalene, they have no way of proving that person is the child of Jesus. Mary Magdalene could have had a kid with any man....

it's all rather stupid. it's a theory that's been out there for quite a while [which is why Dan Brown got sued]. Several of the apostles had children but I guess that's not nearly as interesting of a conspiracy theory.
Up until dna, you couldn't prove anyone was the child of any father for sure anyway.
