Starting your day by waking up from a disturbing end to a dream is not the best way to go, so let's move on!
Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you.
Apollo Justice
Apollo just isn't as fun as Phoenix was, and even hobo!Phoenix is kind of annoying. I felt like the previous games, with Phoenix Wright as the main protagonist, were so much better, so considering that Apollo (as the new lead) was the supposed successor to the Ace Attorney games, it just rubbed me wrong. :( Least favorite of the main Ace Attorney games, unfortunately.
KH: 358/2 Days
You go into this expecting that it'll be the serious business story times with Roxas and Axel. Well, it felt more like the game's main protagonist should have been Xion due to how little anyone else popped up in comparison. The game was somewhat fun early on, but then the entirety of the game became tedious side missions all the time, which made it a pain to continue. I still don't know how I managed to beat it.
Excluding all that, it left a bad taste afterwards because it cheapened certain events from KH2, including Roxas' friendship with Axel. Do not want. For some reason, everyone came out of this game looking like a jerk to me, even moreso than usual if they were initially portrayed as jerks in previous games. This game is the reason why I have this mindset to avoid "filler" KH games that basically don't add anything to the main games' stories beyond one or two cutscenes you can easily find on YouTube. That's why I've since avoided Re:coded.
