Oh Stacey, speaking of people I never hear from anymore... This may be what FtMs choose to do, I certainly grant them that. I also don't think the solution here is "better studies" but "not seeing trans people as an intellectual problem to be solved in the first place" but I recognize what this is about.

Also, I'd worry about the meaning of "legitimacy" if it were me...

Huh. I guess the question is, would more studies of POCs help TPOCs more than the bazillion studies done on not-specific-about-race trans folks have helped anyone else? It seems like a case of the food is terrible and the portions are too small. I mean, good lord, look at the history of sociologists and psychologists and biologists studying non-trans POCs...
