They have a bit: a search for "[people] who posted [during the past week] and [location = 'San Francisco']" results in about 20 entries now, not 4. But most of these

I went to your journal to avoid having to ask this, and can't help but notice that your husband kind of DOES look like that tall guy in yellow from Curious George. (I hope you find this statement funny and not insulting.)

Last night my husband and I were speaking to my husband's sister, and her children were really impressed that my son found the *real* Man in the Yellow Hat. They didn't realize it was their uncle.

Hi, I am a a 30-somethingish lady. I live in Baltimore and am a stay-at-home mom, but I struggle with it because work was easier than this nonsense.
I started to stay at home a little over a year ago to find out what my son could eat. He has multiple food allergies. I did not appreciate that food allergies are genetic and that children of people with food allergies will have food allergies that differ from the allergies that their parents have. This means that people with multiple closely spaced small children will be very cranky if they do tandem nursing because their diet will be severely restricted by children with various allergies. I do not have multiple closely spaced small children as an excuse for my crankiness though.

I still have enough to continue. I think. There are a couple or three or four people I see here that I enjoy seeing and I do like it when you post. FB draws me in, but I honestly don't even know how much I really like it.
I realize now that in some ways, LJ helped to change my life, I encountered people here with thoughts and ideas I had not encountered in the same way elsewhere.
I like the "diary" aspect and keeping track of my life this way, private entries too, but yea - it is not the same!
It probably never will be again. Kind of a ghost town.
