Blacklid just left to go home after a great week + of relaxation, but before I let her get away from me again we went and did what we've been saying we wanted to do for 2 years.

Yay, first tattoo! Mine is the black one. They are the same size, just different colors.

Lovely! very nicely done. How much did it hurt getting it done on your wrist? I've rejected getting one there out of fear. Too many veins close to the surface :) I've gotten tats on my upper arms, and they didn't hurt much at all.

I was told by a lot of people that it was an extra painful place. Not having ever gotten one anywhere else, I have nothing to compare it to, but I didn't think it was bad at ALL. The vertical center line right over my tendon was a little bit intense at first but I relaxed into it pretty quickly.

To be fair though, I have an insanely high pain tolerance due to chronic nerve pain in my wrists. I get acupuncture in that area all the time, so I'm used to things like the e-stim machine, which dumps an electronic pulse into your nerves for like 20 straight minutes. In comparison to that the tattoo was a walk in the park. :)
