Source about the West arming Hitler? It doesn't sound implausible, but I'd like to check.

If it weren't for the Holocaust, I might be a pacifist. Sometimes, there's a difference between bad and worse.

For that matter, fearing the Soviets wasn't a crazy idea, considering their history of mass murder.
