I'm sitting here on the couch and Isaac is nestled into the crook of my arm just sleeping away. The only thing that would make it better is if Lucas were here instead of giving his (super late) final.

I've been thinking about mommy blogging lately, and why I would suck at it.

It seems like moms need things to do, and these things tend to follow

I dunno, a common sense blog sounds pretty awesome. *g*

There are days when I wonder what happens to a woman's brain that, having had a child, they suddenly exist in something like a sugar overload. And then I remember all the moms who are not that way, and conclude that the saccharine stuff was always there. It's just that it got worse.

An old friend of mine has four kids and one on the way and posts highly entertaining, sarcastic, and witty updates on Facebook about the bizarre things that go on in her house. They own a farm, so there are posts about adorable baby chicks or an annoying calf, but that's the most unusual thing going on. She loves her kids/husband, it just doesn't prevent her from seeing the absurdities.
