I actually enjoyed this comic, though it was rather short. Never enough of Firefly, especially when wrapped in pretty art. I loved the way River is drawn here. Zoë also gets props. I guess the only downside is Inara. She looks odd in my eyes. Anyway, note that the bases/icons

Oh, I'm so rarely impressed by icons of the comic - and I agree with the dislike of comic!Inara, but she's the only weak link I could find there, you know, except for us not getting more about the HoB, but that's all FOX's fault for not letting the Genius One tell his gorramn story, ahem.

I love these, and will be snagging a few - Book and Mal being one, and I will also be snagging pretty much all of the River and HoB ones, because, yeah, I'm such a freaking fan of the HoB, just, gah, so much potential, you know?

And I must agree. I really had wished we'd get to learn more about the HoB, but I felt that they were kind of wasted potential here :(

I'm adding this to my memories so I can come back when I'm coherent. Just wanted to let you know these are *amazing*. You're right about Inara; the rest look dead-on, especially Book, I thought. Maybe it's just the angle Inara is at, cuz some of them look pretty close to right, and others... I wouldn't know it was her without the context. Anyway, great job!

Awww, that's too bad. I really felt it was a good addition to the fandom and loved the art for it.
