- 43 icons from Witchblade 1x01

I thought I'd revisit some golden oldies, like the Witchblade series with Yancy Butler.

The icons from this batch are focused on Sara & Nottingham, because I like to keep it simple and have weird interest in unhealthy stalker relationships ;)

Screencaps are self-made.

You are now my OFFICIAL FAVORITE ICON PERSON. SRSLY.

I didn't know anyone besides me remembered that show, much less was iconning it lol. These are fantastic, will credit what I take. Will you be doing more? I want more Irons! :D :D :D You rock, you roll, you even julienne.

Thanks. ;D

I quite recently rewatched the whole show and even if it's quite different from the comic I rather like it, especially the first season was phenomenal. Then I came online and realized that the Witchblade fanbase has vanished off to thin air: No communities, no screencaps, nothing! I figured I'd at least make myself some icons and maybe a mood theme.

I've been autocapping the episodes with VLC and the quality isn't exactly amazing, but I think I'll do another few batches from season one. Season two is still kind a bad memory for me, so maybe not that. So I'll see how it goes and maybe make more icons this weekend. ;)

And it's good to know at least someone still remembers this show. Yancy made one hell of a Sarah and Etebari wasn't a bad Nottingham either ;D

I only read the comic YEARS later when it came out in Omnibus form (and was missing several key issues that took place in "Darkness" which made parts a very lame read)... I like some aspects of the comic better, especially the blade itself, but on the flipside, Season 1 of the series really grounded the characters, made them less ridiculous, and made the Supernatural aspect of the comic come to life more. Plus it was some of the best-directed stuff I've ever seen in my life ( ... )

Yeah, I have the Omnibus as well. It's shame with the Darkness issues - I mean what were they thinking?! The story is as incomplete as it gets! And yeah, the comic is very much a comic in the good and the bad, but it has its charm just like the show does. Some things are better, some worse. I like both equally ( ... )
