I'm not surprised the mixer dropped out... impossible to create a mix without a story!

The mod just said the mixer also seemed to disappear--never officially dropped or anything. I had this feeling, (after I got the 5k words instead of 18k) that this challenge was going to end badly.

Still think it was VERY WRONG of the mods to accept only that 5k. It wasn't fair to either you or the other artist/mixer. It put you both in an awkward position, and as I said, it wasn't fair that you put time and effort into creating for a story that should never have been accepted for artist claims.

I've never been a writer for this BB, so I don't know if that check-in actually required a draft be sent or just acknowledgement from the author. I do know that the author didn't submit during the final--she actually didn't officially drop out until after the posting schedule went up.

Because I finished the art? Until the author actually officially withdrew I had to run with the idea that she was going to post.
