My personal physician would be very upset if I made myself sicker. Perhaps the next time it snows we can test our artistic skills.

I couldn't help it. I always seem to get sick during the winters here and hardly get to have any fun. I won't stay out for long, though. Unohana-taichou will yell at me if I do.

Just a bit of silliness, really. It's the insignia of the Thirteenth Division, my Division. The top half is how we write "thirteen."
[Lifting a hand to pull his hair away from the back of his haori, he turns his back to Riku so he can see the matching number inside a diamond on the overcoat.]

The bottom is our Division's flower, the snowdrop, which stands for hope.
