You're not the only one I know who collects those dolls. I've got a friend who is a little older than me that loves those things. She freaked out when her parents got her the doll she was missing for Christmas.

have been happy that there hasn't been much snow here in Michigan.

i've been a little sad with the lack of snow. i'm that one crazy one in a group that likes the snow! but it's been really nice out. saves on heating bills.

i mean, the kids' behaviour reflects the parent's ability to parent, doesn't it?In some cases, yes. In other cases, no! I have a "problem" daughter who is constantly argumentative toward me. She picks fights, seemingly when things are going well between us. I'm not sure why. Whereas my son and I get along quite well. I've been told I'm doing quite well in my parenting, but there are often times I don't see it. I'm only human, just as you. But if these "important" (for lack of a better word) people are thinking that you're doing everything right.. keep doing what you're doing. Like I said, kid's behavior doesn't always reflect on the parent. My son has been raised in the church pretty much since he's been born (with the exception of when I fell away for a matter of years) and recently he's claiming Atheism and is acting out his rebellion. That has no bearing on the way I've been parenting him. It's sometimes the age of the child, or if the child has some deep emotion, or what have you. If they say you're doing well, keep doing what you ( ... )

it's not even how they act torward ME, but how they are in general, and in public, and anywhere we have to interact with others in any situation. little things like move aside when you see someone walking torwards you, do that you don't walk into them; and not screaming in the resturaunt when i have to go get a box to go. and getting us kicked out of psyche offices for being too distruptive.

it seems like so little typing it out, but it's humiliating for them to act as toddlers all the time.

Sounds as though they have anger issues. Are they in therapy?

oh yeah. i've got their therapists, teachers, special ed people, mentors, and will be atarting an in-home therapy soon. plenty of cooks in this kitchen, so to speak.

they're both going for neuro-psyche testing at Mass General, some really in-depth all-day stuff. but the appointments aren't until July and Sept, respectively. so it's just a matter of waiting.

Hey, I'm a 37 year old man who still buys Star Wars figures. There's no shame in the toy game.
