Terror Attacks

Jul 07, 2005 10:33

My sympathies go out to those affected by the terrorist attacks in London. I was deeply saddened by the news of the bombings, as I am sure many of you were, as well. I don't really know what to say to express my feelings, and I hope that this simple message conveys a semblance of my sympathy and sorrow at these events.

hey, dear Taigan.

this is all very sad, isn't it? I'm so used to not watching TV that I skipped it this morning and went straight to my friends-list on LJ with my coffee. And that's how I find out. I'm wading through the entries right now -- there are quite a number of londoners on LJ in the HP fandom... something I never really noticed quite as much as I am now.

in other news, I am feeling pretty darn blessed to be a my home drinking a cup of coffee brewed in my percolator.

how was that massive test?

I'm glad to hear that that paper was appreciated! sounds like a prof who recognizes quality. that's always heartening to hear about.

yes, I'm back in California, Santa Barbara, to be precise! I shared my plane ride back with an actor from one of the new Star Trek series -- I haven't looked up his name yet, but it's the person who places the halogram Doctor. Well, when I mean share, I mean I saw him WAY up there in First class! :)

California-- geez, it's so fantastic to be back. I've spent nearly every available moment glued to J-bot with the Toof nearby! I just love my little family unit! I'd say more but then you'd have to scrap up the cheese from your keyboard!

well, that's all for now-- need more sleep!!!!

good luck on your test tomorrow!
