In the last 24 hours I’ve found that my email doesn’t work, I was stuck in the rain for an hour, and I lost the keys to my apartment.

Could have been worse... you could have been offline, stuck in the rain, locked out of your apartment -- and *actually* naked.

Still, I know what you mean. I count myself pretty lucky overall, and it's really disconcerting when that luck doesn't come through.
