Hahaha, S.T.A.L.K.E.R is finally out? Me and a few friends had been waiting for that thing to come out since GCSEs. :D
It seems that my laptop's borked install of DirectX means Titan Quest is unplayable. Honestly... it shows up, the graphics are fucked to hell, it's impossible to tell what's what because they're so corrupted, but if I get into the actual game, it plays like what I imagine LSD is like. You move and there are about fifteen slightly-offset copies of the landscape around; monsters leave similar trails, and there's no mouse pointer visible so you can't tell if you're actually attacking them or running away or what.
Yeah. Interesting to look at, but I could never actually play it like that!
Also, rest assured that some of us know what Crusader: No Remorse is, and think it's awesome. And that your computer is awesome for finally being powerful enough. :D
It's pretty predictable. Plus if they had taken a few more years on it, the technology might have gone past where they were aiming for, making all their work seem amateurish in comparison (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elder_Scrolls_II:_Daggerfall)
