1. Get some Lactaid and keep it around. From time to time, you will accidentally get some dairy in your system, and if you do, there's no reason to suffer like that. Pop a few of the enzyme tablets, and blunt the worst of the symptoms.
2. Try almond or hazelnut milk with the sweetened cereal. Some people go for rice, too.
