So, come home this morning, open the door to my apartment building, and BAM. BLOOD EVERYWHERE. Splattered on the walls, the glass door, the floor. Jesus fucking christ. Have you guys been looking at other places? I know it's a bit of a drive, but that complex that I lived in in CR was really nice and while they were rent controlled, I never felt unsafe and there was never blood on the walls when I came home from work.
Alexandria Apartments, I think was the name. My rent was only $400 something a month for my one bedroom.
