Why buy it? You obviously hate the company and don't agree with the design philosophy of THE ENTIRE PACKAGE, so why support it?

And based on that last paragraph, really, there's no way arguing is gonna change your point of view of the company as a whole, so I'm not gonna.

It has games out that I want to play on it. namely, Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram, Gears of War 2, 1 versus 100 and Shadow Complex. Plus for fighters, I'm tired of all my friends being on Xbox when I'm on PS3.

Huh. Hadn't known about the UPnP thing. Though I know my brother-in-law here generally just uses the PS3's curiously effective interfacing with Windows Media Server functions of Win7, and we have seen an icon for Vuze show up when he has that active on his computer. We haven't messed with that, though, so no idea how well that works. Really surprising, though, that it has such amazing interfacing with Microsoft products when Microsoft makes its biggest competition.

As for the Netflix... we have the installer for Netflix for PS3; we really should see how well that works. We've just not bothered, to my knowledge.

I'm just someone who knows Kit-chan, and you seem to read a bit too much from my online behaviour. I suppose web-browsing and finding interesting chatter is a social crime - wouldn't be the first time I'd been oblivious of a potential social blunder. Sorry for the trouble.
