So about Otakon, which I'm not at right now, and cons in general, chiave_trust put together a post inspired by another one of her friends thoughts about Otakon, which he attended for about a day, which kind of got me thinking about my own con experience

That is so true. I don't really even buy stuff anymore, I go to hang out and make friends and just have a great time.

...and that's exactly why it's pointless if your friends are either not there, or too busy with stuff like the mascarade to hang out.
