Let me get this in here. I'm not denying privilege exists. I'm not denying that there's a glass ceiling or that shit sucks for women. I'm not. Yes, there are multiple axis and intersections of privilege and oppression. And sadly, it is not as simple as comparing role playing state penalties. In large part this is due to the fact that each combination is unique. Sometimes an oppression occurs at a specific intersection which would not be normally evident from looking at the two dynamics individually.

For instance, being middle or lower class and bisexual. If you were wealthy or famous, being bisexual might not be much of an issue, and likely would not inhibit your dating prospects. In part because sexual eccentricities are almost expected are par for the course.

Actually, ask Michael Huffington, Arianna Huffington's ex husband, how being higher class and bisexual did for him.

Depending on the context, certain intersections are way more volatile than others. if you're running for office, and bisexual, and there's an R after your name, you're going to face some serious problems. Actually if you're a rational thinker and you've got an R after your name, you're going to face problems, but that's another story all together.

Truly rational thinkers wouldn't look at the American balance sheet and say, "Yeah, we don't need to raise taxes." ;)
