He's trying very hard to explain and justify his viewpoint, I can see that.
Hidden inside the stupidity are a few small points that, if expanded upon, might even be legitimate - in particular, his complaints about the downplaying of male victims of domestic violence, and how feminists tend to paint ALL males as potential abusers.
If he'd stuck with those, instead of adding all that bullshit, he might have had a point going, there.
I've had a hard time identifying as feminist since I was told some years back that if a woman choose to stay home to raise her children she was single handedly setting back the entire feminist movement. Because instead of putting all women into one mold (of the nurturing homemaker), we should force them all into a different one (of adamant career women). Heaven forbid each person should have their own choice, and be respected for it.
Obviously I'm aware that not all feminists think that way, but since the ones I met locally did, it made me not want an active role in that particular community. Instead I practice feminism on my own by living my life in the way that makes me happiest without infringing on the rights of others to do the same.
