yakima---------one song.... ONE FRICKIN SONG! we are going against mead...mt. spokane.....other hardcore bands...with one song. Its embarassing. Mr. carl says its for the experience, but he doesnt realize that it just makes us look bad to our peers. AND, we have no chance of competing. NONE! It is dumb! We should have started sooner then we did. I don't even want to go on Saturday, and normally I get all excited about band trips...just because they are band trips. Idk...something isn't right this year.

I agree- what's different this year? Almost all the upperclassmen I've talked to say the same. Maybe it's Mr. Carl's whole diabetes thing- perhaps it's effecting his head.

And I'm not looking forward to Saturday- talk about forced embarassment.

Yeah, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, the whole bit. Not sure if I was supposed to tell anyone that...

He told my mom sometime during summer band, and then she told me. Apparently, he's saying no to almost everything sweet and fatty and he's lost something like 15 pounds or something.

I meant it as a joke, but now that I think about it, maybe it might explain an EXTREMELY small portion of it. But I think he's just as frustrated with everything as much as the band is (even though it's his fault we started too late).

Amen to that guys. I feel the same way you do. "for the experience and comments on what to work on"...we are gunna get a whole lot of comments on what to work on. Like..Maybe your band should have started sooner, or NOT GONE TO YAKIMA!

umm..duh? the only one worth anything is matt. and it sucks, because everyone in the drumline is looking for power, so the drummers dont listen to anybody in the line, or anybody period.

you should tell them too remove the sticks out of their ass and work on something else other than the ditty. they can even roll in a consistant way playing SSB. Im so sorry adam, you have my apologies

We should have started WAY earlier. If we were like this two weeks ago we would be okay. This Saturday will not be something the band will look forward to at all. How can we when we only have part of our show done?
These last two weeks have also turned us into a band of hate. From all sides, this has weakened the band and our chance of doing well in other competitions this year.
