[Any Luceti residents in the centre of the village are likely to notice a splash as a giant furry New Feather is ungracefully dropped into the fountain.

The victim of this event is not all too happy about his condition.]

Wha-water-GUH!

[Charlie notices the splash, mainly because she was right beside the fountain when it happens and she is now soaked.] Holy sh--

[And she stops because she's noticed what, exactly, made the splash. She's not going to stare much. Don't be mad. Just...what?] Wow, people really do land in the fountain here.

[When he shakes himself off, Charlie shields herself, cringing away from deluge part two. It's then that she notices the book at his feet. She points at it, speaking.] I think that belongs to you.

[The staring does not come unnoticed, but awkwardness is cranked to 11 when the Beast sees how wet this young... woman is, and by deductive reasoning... yeah. Yeah, he definitely did that. Crap.

With a lowered head slightly turned towards her, he mutters just loud enough that she can hear:] Um... sorry.

[He'd probably be desperately thinking now about what a prince is supposed to do when they've soaked a girl, but the last statement is much too distracting, and he finally sees the journal.

A book? His? Very funny.] No, it... it's not mine.

[He really wonders why she'd be thinking about some obscure thing lying on the ground when she's probably getting cold from the wetness, but... grr, he should really be doing something about that, shouldn't he.]

[Eh. She doesn't mind a little water now and then. It dries off eventually. Also? She's done staring for now. Instead, she's looking at the book again.] I think it might be. Everyone here has one like it so...

[She shrugs slightly, looking at the Beast again.] And don't worry about me being soaked. I was going to try to go swimming later, anyway.

[Pause. Pause. Awkward pause.] I'm Charlie. Welcome to Luceti, I guess.

[No staring is well-favoured.] One... like it? [So all the books here look the same? He doesn't quite get it.]

[Wait, she's not mad? Really? He... wasn't quite expecting that response, so he'll just sort of look off over here and...] Uh... [Alright? Sure? Where are you, words?]

[Introductions. Not used to. Gah. Yeahum, he's a Beast, it's pretty obvious, so he'll just let that one slide. Second part more interesting.] Luceti?

[Poland couldn't really miss that splash and when he sees exactly who it came from, he kind of just stares in dumb-founded horror. Sorry, Beast.]

[Beast eventually notices your staring, random person. He is all too aware of it.

He is going to give you a small glare as he wishes he had his cape right now.]

[He jumps when he realizes he's been caught onto, but he keeps his ground and tries to not seem weirded out by your glaring, giant hairy beast.]

[All this eye contact is making Beast uncomfortable - in fact, rather annoyed. He already knows how horrible he looks, he doesn't need to be reminded, thank you.

He's going to walk over to where Poland is in his classic stealthy fashion and then tower above you to give his most threatening stance.]

Can I help you?

[After meeting some very normal people, Don continues on, only to encounter... something huge and furry. Despite the fact that he just got stared at and whispered about himself, he kind of can't help staring at this newcomer.]

[Oh great, more staring. Just what he nee-

That. Is that a turtle?

... Is that a human-sized turtle?

Good god, does the Beast want to know why he was cursed?

Yeahum, screw being mad, Beast is just going to stare at you in complete shock and confusion.]

[Fair enough.]

Hi. You're new. [He says it in a completely matter-of-fact tone.]

[The tone thankfully snaps Beast out of it so he can attempt to converse with this... person?]

G... I guess you could say that.

[What to say, what to say to a human-acting turtle... well, if he's in this state, he's obviously one of the cursed who has been exiled here, so...] ... What did you do?

[Beast, the Lord of the Tact.]

Uh... hello.

[Kinda sheepish, this grown man is. He is also trying not to stare at the giant furry ...thing. but they are probably eye-level. Livio and his freaky tall-ness.]

Do you need any help?

[See? he wasn't staring. He was... just looking at you. Without blinking. As he is trying to be helpful!]

[Wow, Beast is not used to people being as tall as him, though granted he's slouching a little.

Then again, he is also not used to people asking to help him. Are people usually this nice? Even to monsters?

Admittedly, though, Beast does need help... he's just not sure what exactly he needs help with. So he's just going to awkwardly rub the back of his head, look down, and stammer a little.] I... I, uh...

[Well, Livio tries to be nice to everyone and not discriminate. Even if they do look really weird to him, he's seen crazy things like weather and amusement parts and giant walking turtles and even this one really weird looking guy who is actually made from a tree. So needless to say he is becoming accustomed to freaky looking things he normally doesn't see. Besides, monsters are people who act like monsters.

He's pretty patient with awkward turtles too, if only because he usually is one himself.]

You must be new to Luceti.

[Just an observation, and one he sounds okay with, actually.]

[This one will have to call himself a monster, then, thanks to his smoooooth reputation with handling people.]

I guess.

[If you want to call being dropped here out of extra punishment a welcome enough gesture to make him considered "new".]

[Sorry Beast, she's not bewildered at all. This is a girl who arrived to Luceti only to find herself welcomed first by a giant monster that tried to eat her. And a girl who later on found a scary demonic creature and dragged him to her apartment.

She's still surprised and a bit scared but she never stops being scared in Luceti so it's nothing new. Have a shy looking pinkhaired girl stepping closer to you and picking up your journal.]

A-Are you okay?

[Well, he's all wet and furry...]

Y-You should dry yourself, y-you can catch a cold...

[Oh dear... he was kind of hoping this many people wouldn't bother him regardless of his appearance, but all these unusually kind gestures are... man this is getting awkward.

He'll respond quietly.] ... I... I-I'm fine. [Though he wouldn't mind having his clothes back... lately being shirtless actually feels a bit naked to him. He won't say this, but instead slouch over a little more and rub himself to give some sort of shelter.]

[You don't look really fine, though... Luka will reach out to take his hand... Or paw or whatever it should be called.]

Come... We have to get you dry... D-Do you wear clothes?

[If he does then they will need clothes too.]

[She's... touching his paw? On her own free will? Nice gesture is nice but totally unexpected.]

Y... yes. [He secretly thanks you for asking; you might notice he's a little relieved.]
