Statement of a friend and my reply

This is a thing about homosexuality. I realize this can be a very charged subject. I once posted something satirical because I thought it was funny and got annonimous hatemail as a response. If anyone cannot handle the subject as a reasonable adult who can respect differences of opinion without impassioned tirades (either conservative or liberal) I ( Read more... )

It's a sentence fragment. It's a sentence fragment in the midst of an enormous, rambling semi-paragraph that had no cohesive thought to force it into place. Before you get into another long-winded argument with this person, I would suggest you direct them to another area of study. They are not suited for the study of words and languages ( ... )

I doubt he was trying to make a formal arguement, though over time I've gotten used to gleening his points from the stream of consciousness method he tends to use.

I do feel pornography is a greater threat to traditional marriage than homosexuality. The intention was to show it as a challenge people face rather than correlate any degree of severity. then again, agreeing with that method would require agreeing that homosexuality is a challenge to be faced rather than an acceptable method of living.

As for a shovel to the head... for me that was concussion 4 of 5 (though to the back and not the front). Not a good memory. Ever try driving home with tunnel vision down to what you can see by putting the tips of your thumb and index finger together?
