And there it is: the fundamental trouble is one Wilson can't fix, and House is realizing that. :(

Yep - Wilson can't make him not-a-slave much as he might want to. And Wilson can't change how society reacts to him - although he's trying to change the hospital at least :)

Hmmm, maybe they should make it more clear what the building rules are there, if Wilson didn't know about this laundry bit. What a ridiculous rule, but no doubt they'll have many reasons why it should be so. Still, blah. :-P And I wish I could have pizza, too. *sigh*

I think it's one of those rules that they apply when it's convenient for them :(

Adric icon! I still remember watching that episode when it first aired when I was a kid - I was shocked that they killed him off!

Thanks for reading!

I kind of like Adric though I haven't yet seen any of the episodes he's in. That kid was cute :)

I love that now that he is settled in with Wilson, is day-to-day safe, and has his memories back he is getting his snarkiness back. I love that Wilson is so good at reading Greg's moods.

Oh, what joys of living in an apartment building/condo.

Poor Wilson, Greg getting sucked into the computer.... Of course it will be legit, wink, wink, nod, nod!

Of course, Greg wouldn't do anything illegal - actually he probably won't just yet, but give him a little time....

Thanks for reading!

Aw, poor Greg. Can't even do the laundry in piece. It seems in this world people want there to be slavery, the just don't want to see it.

I think Wilson should be careful about letting Greg sign up for things in his name. As his natural personality reasserts itself that could cause trouble.

I love that you worked the pants (pantless?) incident into this. LOL.

See, it wasn't all House's fault that Wilson kept ending up pantless - he managed that even without House :)

Wilson still doesn't really realise what Greg's natural personality is - he might find out little by little :)

When House talked about writing papers for students (which I think he might actually enjoy a little bit), my first thought was for him to open up a PayPal account to get paid. To get the money out it has to be linked to a credit card or bank, I think. Wilson could also consider creating a small business and incorporating, so the business would have separate legal standing and House could take action through that ... which I just realized would make the business legally more of a "person" than House (assuming US laws are the same except for slavery). :(

I can see House writing papers for a paper mill - this House would probably take it fairly seriously, canon House would have a lot of fun with it. I didn't think of using Paypal to get paid, there are a lot of places that use paypal now so that might work. Not sure about whether they have to report anything for tax etc. He couldn't get the money out without a bank account like you said, but he could spend the money in the paypal account on whatever. Good point about a company having more legal standing than Greg at this stage.
