ChuChu's crop seemed really big when I felt it this evening. I never paid attention before she was sick, so I don't know how big they get normally after a full day of eating, but I couldn't feel her collar bones at all. Here!" *hurk*). Of course, I don't know how much she ate. It seems like if I notice a full crop on Ninja or Kalu (Firefly doesn't like the same kind of neckrubs, so I usually don't notice his), it's empty fairly quickly, like maybe in an hour. The wrong depiction of owl talons will really, really bother me though. After they put so much effort into the visuals, to get that wrong will just drive me bonkers. I could forgive the fact that the owl's eyes move (one owl in the trailer rolls them, even) because it's an animation thing to give the owls expression, but the feet is unforgivable to me. Heh.
Flammable feathers reminds me though, I really need to get photos of my burnt-feather pottery!
And thank you for the crop probing, Kyn. I think her digestive system is still seriously messed up. :(
