Crow

There's an American Crow in my neighborhood with all-white flight feathers. I first saw it pecking about on the ground with six or so other crows, and the flash of white caught my eye. Then I saw it fly. It's stunning!

Just a few white flight feathers, or the whole wing? I've seen quite a few crows around here that have one or more all-white wing or tail feathers, or white patches on the head/nape. Always gives me a start. Then again, I've never lived in a city where crows were so abundant, so I find myself watching them nearly every day.

ALL the primaries and secondaries are bright white, and it's symmetrical. I watched it for quite a while.
