It is almost impossible for me to read comments made by people on the topic of gay marriage. I get so angry and at the same time so sad to see that such intolerance and hatred is still so ripe in our world. I read the comments on news.com.au, comments along the lines that homosexuallity is the reason for pedophiles and some how abortion. Whats ( Read more... )

There are some decent people on there, but they even seem to lack the vision to see clearly

Politically we seem to have very little hope of getting gay marriage in Australia - among the major two there seems to be strong bipartisan support (among many other things) against gay marriage.

What little hope we have is for the balance of power to rest with a minor party or independent who stand in support, e.g. the Greens.

babe! i was planning on coming up soon, i was gonna call you and t' it all up.. but then i realised i have 2 21sts and my mums 15 years long service leave thing at her work.... so! i was thinking some time after the 18th! if thats cool?
