As we made our way through the streets toward ... our house I realized a few things. I was going to be living with three children Merrick, Faith and Connor. Really Lexi counted too but right now at this very soulless moment she didn't need to be counted. I could think of a million other things to do besides counting her as a child that is now under

"It did feel pretty good. Although I'm not really angry at my Mom, just for always keeping me in the dark. I don't even know what or who I am. I know you though." I stepped into his touch as his fingertips brushed a strand of hair out of my eyes. "I feel like I know every....part....of you." My hand strayed to the buttons on his shirt, lasciviously running my hand across his chest as I looked up at him with large dark eyes.
"Why do you think that is?" I asked him with a coy smirk as I tilted my head to the side.

It dropped to the floor with a crash and she jumped just like I did. "Ohhh you are going to be in so much trouble!" I yelled. Her eyes were wide with fear as I ran for the car.
"DADDY! DADDY! FAITH BROKE A VASE." I tattled, stopping in front of the girl who helped Daddy take us from the angry lady and the other daddy. She didn't seem pleased to see me.
"It shattered everywhere and I think she may hurt herself because she is weird and was looking at all the pieces and stuff."
Didn't Faith know you shouldn't touch other people's things? I bet Daddy was going to be so upset when he saw what she did. She should learn to be good. I frowned at the girl again. She seemed a little familiar. Was I supposed to know her?
"Daddy she isn't my Mommy, right? She looks too young."

I looked up and met his eyes as he bent down and asked me where I was hurt. Was this how it was supposed to happen? I didn't know but I held out the palm of my hand so he could see where the glass from the vase hurt me. My lower lip jutted out as warm tears flowed down over my face. Didn't mean to break it, it was just pretty and I wanted to hold it. Didn't mean to be bad.
"Didn't mean to break it." I said earnestly meeting his eyes.

"I'm not sleepy!" I announced suddenly and Daddy gave me a mad look. I guess that meant I was supposed to be sleepy. But I wasn't tired even a little bit and I didn't wanna get in trouble.
So I crawled underneath the covers like he told me to and Connor climbed in next to me. Then the weird little hissy girl was in between us. Why did she have to come in here too? I already had Connor in here and I could just blame everything on him.
"Night Daddy!' I exclaimed even though my hand still hurt really bad. It was kind of throbbing now and it was all Connor's fault.

"I'm not tired either," I said. Daddy gave me a look that clearly said I should be tired, but I just shrugged. "It doesn't seem that late."
My stomach growled suddenly. "I'm hungry." Was that little hissing girl looking at me strange? I moved away from her on the bed a little just in case. "Do I have to share a room with the girls? I'm too old to sleep with girls."
They gave me a dirty look but it was true! I was eight years old and that meant I should have my own room. My stomach was growling loud now and Daddy looked tired. Maybe he was the one who should go to bed.
"Can I make a snack? I'm really hungry."

"A snack?" I smirked at the boy and carefully watched his throat. "Yeah Daddy I'm hungry too, can I have a snack?" I would bite that boy if Faith wanted me to, maybe she didn't like him I should ask her when we're alone. I looked at the boy again and he was still asking to get a snack, the dark Angel looked like he was going to explode. His face was all red and he kept running his hands down his face ( ... )
