Sam/Castiel Why are you a Sam/Castiel fan? Their friendship is so damn interesting because we don't see it bloom until later this season. And what we do see it...it is full of awesome. Dean/Cas friendship has always seemed off to me. It just didn't fit. When did you know you were a Sam/Castiel fan? Sam gain my love when "The End" as Lucifer. ((Yes, I went back and watch all four season after that)). Just fell in love with Sam a little more every episode. It wasn't sold on Cas until Season 5. Even then, we had a love/hate relationship. Then the episode, Abandoned All Hope aired, "You can't have Sam Winchester." I squeed...then declared Cas adorable. What is your fave Sam/Castiel moment on the show? Drunk! Sam/Drunk! Because their relationship is far more interesting and complicated than Castiel's relationship with Dean. When did you know you were a Sam/Castiel fan? In 4.03 when Castiel tells Dean to stop Sam "or we will." The future collision of the two forces got my imagination going and from there, there was no going back. Sam/Castiel Why are you a Sam/Castiel fan? I think I fell in love with the dynamic between the characters: Sam had always been a man of faith, and Castiel was proof of it. What was ironic is that Cas was sent to give a mission to his brother, who did not believe. They interested me since they met - Cas had no faith in Sam at first because of the demon blood, but did have more faith than anyone in the end. These two had to build a friendship 'from scratch', and it worked out fine because they believed in each other. ♥ When did you know you were a Sam/Castiel fan? I think since the handshake. I loved Sam's shameless fangirling. Cas threatening Anna that if she touched Sam, he'd kill her gave me the final push. What is your fave Sam/Castiel moment on the show? I'm slowly coming to the realisation that if I've got an SPN femmeslash bicycle, then I think Sam is my slash and het bicycle. And girl!Sam steps up occasionally for the femmeslash as well. I could have sworn it was Dean, but I read way more varied Sam pairings, so I'm super sympathetic to your Sam/Anyone OTP! Also, you love Ellen and Pam and Meg and you don't even mind Ruby! I can agree to disagree about Zachariah; friends?
Usually Jo! But I'd be lying if I said I won't read almost any permutation of SPN femmeslash. Jo's got that perfect balance of just enough blank holes in her characterization, a three-year gap in her narrative, and this fierce, fearless attitude that tends to see her careening off after what she wants. Or hunting, anyway. Dean is another story.
