Hasta La Vista, Baby: Windows 7 Rocks!

Yes!!! I spent the last few days getting Vista off the computers and upgrading to seven! I recommend it to anyone that got stuck in Vista hell! When it says it's seeking a solution it does! Programs that refused to work for me on Vista at all now work on seven with just a tweak or two! It loads faster. It's awesome! Seriously get it if you don't

I heard from a few that they are so happy that they finally can get rid of Vista and that Windows 7 is way better. I was lucky and got a notebook with XP on it during Vista time and to be honest for me it's too expensive to upgrade to Windows 7 as long as XP is working just fine.

If I had XP, I wouldn't have been so desperate to upgrade. Vista was horrible, you are lucky you didn't have to deal with it! XP was nice!

I was lucky! My advantage I didn't by it in a big store but in a little shop and so I had the chance to choose XP instead of Vista...I heard so many negative things about Vista...

Sounds like just the thing for my Vista-plagued laptop. I've neglected that almost completely because I hated Vista with the fire of a thousand suns, and installing XP on it seemed so...dunno. Regressive. Thanks for the review, I've been wondering about Windows 7! :)

Part of the deal when I bought this laptop, a few months a go, was an upgrade to 7 when it came out. I am still waiting for it to arrive but am looking forward to leaving Vista behind.

As most of what you talk about is way....over my head lol I will likely take it to my friendly computer shop to be installed.

I am glad you are happy with the new system. I guess there is more time on the computer in your future:))

After reading this I'm sure in my little scatter brain what you work for Microsoft, Bill Gates be proud of you lol. Personally not had a problem with Vista on the desk top,the laptop ya but not all to sure what somes not my doing lol... but I understand what lots have been frustrated..

Odd reading a post about tech matter from you, lol. Yeah, I've heard great things about 7. I have a friend who notices a pattern with Microsoft, that every other OS they debut is stellar and the in between ones suck. Looks like they're still living up to that pattern.
