I think our motivation for picking Gone with the Wind was to make ourselves look smarter. Maybe not, I don't remember for sure, all I remember is regretting the decision soundly.

it was probably something like that. we were uber pretentious in middle school, hah.

"this is super long, we'll look really smart if we read this. the movie was good so the book must be too...riiiight?"

I have not seen the book OR the movie. what is wrong with me??

I did, however, just purchase Evil Under the Sun, Murder on the Orient Express, and The ABC Murders. So I have to get through those first. And wait until I forget that I've already spent my Barnes and Noble summer money...I know, I know, there's the library, but then you have to read at someone else's speed.

I enjoyed this even though it makes me feel bad because half of those books on that list are on my bookshelf waiting to be dusted off and read. :(
