It just occurred to me that with what the government withholds from my pay and docks the company for "social security" payments related to my employment, I could put a nice down payment on a cash flow-positive rental property every single year.

I just encountered the music of Emiliana Torrini through her Love in the Time of Science CD (which was produced by Tears for Fear's Roland Orzabal). If you like the idea of mixing elements of Bjork's vocal style (Torrini happens to be Icelandic, as well) with warm, light electronica, give her a listen.
